Qualifying for the SUB Ductless Heat Pump Program

You’re also eligible for the program if you use a furnace or a permanent zonal electric heating unit to heat your home. Those who use natural gas or any other fossil fuel to heat their homes can also take advantage of the program, but only if their heating system heats less than 50 percent of the home’s total living space. You are not eligible if your home is heated by a fossil fuel central furnace, fossil fuel hydronic system or ducted heat pump system.
